Pavilion Improvements

Work has started on improvements to the pavilion. Led by Steve Rusby the new bar is under construction as is the enlargement of the kitchen area . New wall seating is to be put in and the away changing room shower has been completely refurbished. HCCL Awards Dinner

Cawthorne stole the show and collected 8 trophies at the league's dinner held at the Brooklands Hotel on Friday 5th March. The awards were presented by guest speaker Peter Bowler ex Derbyshire & Somerset for the following

  1. Premier League
  2. Premier League Batting - Adrian Wilford
  3. Premier League Bowling - Richard Greaves
  4. Tinker Cup
  5. Tinker Cup Man of the Match - Steven Roebuck
  6. H Whittaker Trophy Batting - Charles Mott Cawthorne B 146  v Denby Dale B, 27th June 2009, Sec B
  7. T Gill Trophy most six hits: - Liam Wiles 40
  8. H Robinson Trophy most improved ground - Cawthorne

30 Years Missing

The club are wanting to update the records of individual award winners but are missing 30 years from 1974 to 2004. We are appealing for anyone who has or knows the whereabouts of score books, hand books or committee meeting minutes or who knows the winners names from any of the afore mentioned years to contact John Armistead on john@cawthornecricketclub.co.uk

2010 Fixtures

The 2010 season Junior Under 11's, Under 13's & Under 15's fixtures along with the senior 1st XI & 2nd XI fixtures are out and can be accessed via the menu bar. The 1st XI's opening game will be at Thurstonland away on Sunday 25th April. The 2nd's have a home game against newly promoted local rivals Silkstone 1st XI.

Winter Nets

The winter nets are at Darton High School and are as follows:

       Adults & Under 17's on Mondays at 8.30pm - 9.30pm, starting on January 4th  2010.
       All Juniors are on Thursdays  at 7pm  - 8pm, starting on January 7th 2010.
